How to cancel LinkedIn Sales Navigator
The exact steps, when it takes effect, what LinkedIn deletes, and the cheaper ways to keep the tool if the price is why you are leaving.
The short answer
Go to Settings & Privacy, then Account Preferences, Manage Premium account and Manage Subscription. In the Admin Center, open Purchases, select your subscription and choose Cancel subscription. Access runs to the end of your billing cycle, but LinkedIn removes your saved leads, saved accounts and messages as soon as you cancel. Copy what you need first.

What you lose when you cancel
According to LinkedIn:
- Your saved leads, saved accounts and Sales Navigator messages are removed as soon as you cancel, not at the end of the cycle, and there is no option to save them.
- Unused InMail credits do not carry over to your personal account.
- Buying again later starts from an empty account. Nothing from the old subscription comes back.
- Your personal LinkedIn profile, connections and posts are not affected.

Before you click cancel
- Copy first, then cancel. LinkedIn removes your saved data the moment you cancel, even though access runs to the end of the cycle. Move the leads and accounts you are working into your CRM or a spreadsheet beforehand.
- Use your remaining InMails. They expire with the seat.
- Note your billing date. Cancelling stops the next charge. Do it before the renewal date, once your data is copied.
Leaving because of the price? Four options first
| Option | What you pay | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Same Core seat through SalesNavSplit | $50/mo, or $480/yr | You still prospect, the $119.99 is the problem |
| LinkedIn annual billing | $1,079.88/yr ($89.99/mo) | You want to stay with LinkedIn and can commit a year |
| Premium Business instead | $59.99/mo | You mainly network and rarely run searches |
| Cancel completely | $0 | You no longer prospect on LinkedIn |
Switching to us? Cancel on LinkedIn first and start your SalesNavSplit seat when the LinkedIn billing cycle ends, so you never pay twice for the same month. Your new seat starts empty, like any new subscription, and its lists, saved searches and InMail history reset every 30 days. You get an official license on your own LinkedIn account, a Stripe invoice, and a full refund if it cannot be activated. Only need a list of leads, not a seat? Our Sales Navigator API exports them from $10 per 1,000.
Official license on your own account. Stripe invoice. Cancel anytime on the monthly plan.
