Overview

SalesNavSplit - LinkedIn Token Extractor ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension developed by SalesNavSplit that helps users sync their LinkedIn authentication data with the SalesNavSplit service to maintain active Sales Navigator access. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Data Collection

This Extension collects and transmits the following data:

1. LinkedIn Email Address

• What: Your primary email address associated with your LinkedIn account
• Why: To identify your account on our backend system and associate your LinkedIn session with your SalesNavSplit subscription
• How: Extracted automatically from LinkedIn's email preferences page when synchronization occurs
• Where: Sent securely via HTTPS to our backend server hosted on Google Cloud Platform

2. LinkedIn Authentication Cookies

• What: Session cookies including your LinkedIn authentication token (li_at) and related session data (JSESSIONID, bcookie, lidc, bscookie)
• Why: Required to authenticate your LinkedIn session and activate Sales Navigator access through our service
• How: Extracted from your browser's cookie store when automatic or manual synchronization occurs
• Where: Sent securely via HTTPS to our backend server

3. Local Storage Data

• What: Last synchronization timestamp and your email address
• Why: To track sync status and display it in the extension popup
• Where: Stored locally in your browser only (never transmitted except the email)

How We Use Your Data

The collected data is used exclusively to:

• Identify and authenticate your SalesNavSplit account
• Activate and maintain your Sales Navigator access through our service
• Provide the subscription service you have purchased
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide customer support

Data Storage and Security

Encryption

All authentication data is encrypted before storage using industry-standard encryption.

Location

Data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform servers in Europe (europe-west1 region).

Access Control

Access is restricted to authorized system processes and administrators only.

Retention

Authentication data is retained only while your subscription is active.

Transmission

All data transmission between the extension and our backend uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Share your data with advertisers or data brokers
• Use your data for purposes other than providing our service
• Access your LinkedIn account for any other purpose beyond authentication
• Share your authentication tokens with any third-party services

We MAY share data:

• With LinkedIn (via your authenticated session) to access Sales Navigator features you've subscribed to
• When required by law, court order, or government regulation
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users

Automatic Synchronization

The Extension automatically syncs your authentication data:

• Frequency: Once per hour (configurable for testing)
• Purpose: Keep your Sales Navigator access active and prevent session expiration
• Method: Opens a pinned LinkedIn tab briefly, extracts email and cookies, then closes the tab
• Notifications: You'll receive a Chrome notification when sync completes successfully
• Control: You can disable the extension at any time to stop automatic syncing

Access and Transparency

• View sync status and last sync time in the extension popup
• Request a copy of all data we store about you
• Request information about how your data is used

Control and Deletion

• Stop Syncing: Disable or uninstall the extension at any time
• Delete Data: Contact us to delete all stored authentication data
• Revoke Access: Change your LinkedIn password to invalidate stored tokens
• Cancel Subscription: Contact us to cancel service and delete all associated data

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services in this extension. All data flows directly between your browser, LinkedIn, and our backend service.

Children's Privacy

This Extension is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. LinkedIn's Terms of Service require users to be at least 16 years old. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised
• Material changes will be communicated via email or extension notification
• Your continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance
